Why to Contact Them

It is important that we maintain a connection to our legislative representatives, that we may "...enhance and put forward the interests and concerns..." of who we are: constituents in a democratic form of government.

Too little involvement on our part allows our representatives to lose sight of the fact that their job is to represent our interests and needs. They are where they are because they speak for us. If we, in turn, do not speak up, they have the freedom to assume that their personal leanings are good enough.

Take the time to make your voice heard.
