Labor day dawned bright and beautiful, a splendid day for marching.

  

We are gathered and ready to march. PMAPWU was Group #116 of 186,
and we took off just past the halfway mark. Look at that sky!

  

We have members' children carrying our banner for us.
What a feel-good sight.

  

One of the Democratic Presidential hopefuls, John Edwards, is campaigning
in the nomination race. He took some time for addressing the crowd
of participants before the parade kicked off.
